In anticipation of Opening Day, West Bend Mutual Insurance Company has announced that as part of a continued partnership with the Milwaukee Brewers Community Foundation and the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer), West Bend will once again donate to each organization when a Brewers player hits a double or a home run at Miller Park.

Each time a Brewers player hits a double this season, either during a home or away game, West Bend will donate $50 to the MACC Fund. Additionally, for each home run hit at Miller Park, West Bend will donate $100 to the Brewers Community Foundation.

"Opening Day is always an exciting time as we welcome baseball back to Milwaukee," said Kevin Steiner, president and CEO of West Bend. "At West Bend, we take pride in giving back to the communities in which we operate and in supporting the organizations that do so much for our community. That’s why this initiative is one of our favorites. Not only do we get to cheer on our Milwaukee Brewers, we also get to support the Brewers Community Foundation and the MACC Fund, two organizations that play such a vital role in Milwaukee. So when you follow the Brewers this season, please cheer extra hard for your favorite players to hit a double or home run."

Last season, West Bend donated $12,000 and $15,000 to the Milwaukee Brewers Community Foundation and the MACC Fund, respectively.
