The Milwaukee Mustangs wide receiver/linebacker Marcus Everett has been named to the 2012 Arena Football League All-Ironman Team.

In his second season with Milwaukee, the 27-year-old started all 18 of the Mustangs' regular season games on both offense and defense. On the offensive side of the ball, he totaled 20 receptions for 225 yards and seven touchdowns to go along with two rushes for 22 yards and a score.

Defensively, he recorded an impressive 17 tackles, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. He returned nine interceptions for 131 yards and three touchdowns. The three scores on interception returns tied him for the most in a single season in franchise history and is also the second highest single-season total in AFL history.

Finding a way to be around the ball all season has helped Everett earn Riddell Defensive Player of the Game honors three times, Week 3 Ironman recognition, and Week 8 MVP honors.

The All-Ironman Team consists of the six best multi-position players in the Arena Football League. Players chosen for this team are selected based on vote from Coaches, public relations directors, the League office, and the fans.

Everett joins Pittsburgh WR/KR P.J. Berry, Spokane DB/KR Terrance Sanders, Philadelphia WR/KR Jeff Hughley, Jacksonville WR/DB Terrance Smith and Kansas City WR/KR Jackie Chambers on the squad.
