Summerfest Rock ‘N Sole Run

This is the perfect athletic event for music lovers. With a registration choice of a 5k, quarter marathon or half marathon, all participants will receive a free ticket to Summerfest and Polish Fest. No matter the length of the race you choose, you’re guaranteed a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and the Hoan Bridge. 5k athletes can also enter a best-dressed contest for a chance to win additional Summerfest tickets and swag.  

Dirty Girl Mud Run

Not much of a runner but looking for something fun? This women-only run is so simple a newcomer will feel at ease. Choose to walk, jog or run through obstacles and yes, mud. Tough Mudder isn’t a timed race, but a group challenge. So rally up some of your strongest and fearless friends to participate in world-class obstacles! Plunge into icy water and trudge through muddy lakes spread throughout the physically demanding 12 mile course. But don’t worry too much, because if an obstacle seems too difficult you can skip it. Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk for Children’s Hospital

Lace up your shoes and join Marquette’s coaches, students and alumni in this 3.1 mile walk/run down Wisconsin Avenue. It’s one of the more popular races in town, so be prepared for crowds of people and strollers - all raising money for the children’s hospital. Whether you choose to run in a team or solo, all participants will end at the Summerfest grounds with a post-race party of food, bands, and kid-friendly activities.

Brewers Mini Marathon

Whether you choose to run a mini-marathon or 10k, all participants in this race will receive a free Brewers ticket voucher for a regular season game in April or May of 2016. If that doesn’t have you ready to race, maybe the free beer at the finish line will encourage your spirit! All athletes will receive a tech shirt, virtual gift bag and finisher medal at the post-race party with live music and food.

Zombie Mud Run

At the Zombie Mud Run, you’re either quick, or you’re dead. All runners in this 5k will wear a belt around the waist with detachable flags that represent "lives." Zombies stationed throughout the course will try to pull off the flags to end your "life." A portion of all registration fees will be donated to an anti-bullying campaign.
