Veolia Environmental Services will return as the title sponsor for Rock the Green 2012, the Midwest's near-zero waste non-profit music festival.

The festival will bring world-class music and an interactive sustainability experience back to Veterans Park Saturday, Sept. 15.  The event was held on a Sunday last year.

As part of their on-site waste reclamation efforts at the festival, Veolia will showcase emerging green technologies and eco-friendly educational programs that encourage sustainable lifestyles.

Additionally, Rock the Green 2012 will also introduce wind power to its list of renewable energy sources and feature a new exhibit area that will showcase the missions of 10 local environmental non-profit organizations.

Tickets to Rock the Green 2012 will once again be $25. VIP viewing areas will also be available. The final lineup of performing artists will be announced this spring.
