The Wave kicks off the season on the road in Wichita on Friday before their season opener on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. at the U.S. Cellular Arena against the Missouri Comets. The Wave will drop the 2012 Championship banner prior to their home opener game.

The Wave looks to continue their winning legacy as they bring black plenty of firepower this year to a team that won the MISL Championship and finished with an 18-6 record last season.

The MISL Championship MVP and 2011-12 All Second Team selection, Marcio Leite, will start the season on the injured reserve with a hamstring injury. Back in action are the All-MISL Rookie Team selection Nick Perera, 2011-12 ALL-MISL Second Team selection Joe Hammes, and 2011-12 MISL goalkeeper for the year finalist Marcel Feenstra.

The Wave last saw the Comets in the first round of the 2011-12 MISL Playoffs where they defeated the Comets 27-10 and 9-7 to advance to the MISL Championship. The Comets will look to Bryon Alvarez to lead the attack along with Vahid Assadpour and Lucas Rodriguez. Goalkeeper Danny Waltman returns behind their defensive lineup that includes Leo Gibson, Biran Harris and Ryan Junge.

Fisher House Wisconsin is the BMO Harris Bank Jersey Program charity for the home opener. In honor of Veterans Day all veterans and active members of the service will get in free. Pre-game will include the banner drop for the Wave's 2012 MISL Championship.

A family 4-pack is available for Sunday's home game. Season tickets, flex plans and single-game tickets are also on sale. For more information on tickets visit milwaukeewave.com or call (414) 224-9283.
