It is the most profane of preseason traditions: Deadspin's annual NFL Why Your Team Sucks series.

Every year, columnist Drew Magary goes through every team in the league, mercilessly burns them to the ground and salts the ground they once proudly stood upon. It's mean. It's vulgar. It's as gleefully dark as a children's book written by George R.R. Martin. And it's utterly delightful, mandatory reading, a dose of barbed honesty during a time of year when even the most Jaguar-iest of NFL franchises and their fans are convincing themselves that THIS WILL BE OUR SEASON!

Magary's been going from the worst finishes in the league last year to the best, from lacerating the top picked new rookie quarterbacks in Tampa and Tennessee to mocking the all-consuming dumpster fires that are the Oakland Raiders and the Washington Redskins to his own team, the Minnesota Vikings. And now he's finally made it to the Green Bay Packers.

It's not pretty.

Bad news, fans who were just now finally getting over the Packers' NFC Championship loss to the Seahawks, because Magary spends most of the article just lounging and soaking in that memory like a hot tub of grand failure (deservedly so). He also takes Mike McCarthy to the woodshed for his now-abolished offensive play-calling (very deservedly so), Dom Capers for often being the worst (yeah, that's deserved too) and the entire Green Bay population for being "fat, pasty, bizarro Steelers fans." That hurts deep, man.

It's a massacre alright ... and you should read the whole thing because it's hilarious and – if you're being honest with yourself – more than a little accurate (at least on the football side of things). Plus, he cedes at the end that we ought to win a title, so there's a little sugar sprinkled at the end of this napalming.

Anyways, it could be worse. Imagine what he's got cooking up for the oh-so-lovable New England Patriots for his finale next week.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
