This noncompetitive, family-friendly event raises awareness and funds to invest in breast cancer research; provide free information and support; and help people take steps to reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early, when it’s most treatable. NAMIWalk Greater Milwaukee - 5K
A great Walk on a great Lake for a great Cause!
Every journey begins with that first step! As NAMIWalks celebrates our 14th Anniversary in 2016, we are proud to be NAMI’s largest and most successful mental health awareness and fundraising event in the country!
Through NAMIWalks public display of support for people with mental health challenges, we are changing how Americans view mental illness. Please join us as we improve lives and our communities one step at a time.
We will still be holding our event in Veterans Park, but we have moved north of last year's location, and will be near the Gift of Wings kite shop! Rain or shine we will be out walking, so prepare for Milwaukee's indecisive weather! There will be free parking on the grass, so no need to worry about finding spot. We'd love to see your furry four-legged walkers as well! Click here if you'd like to see a map of the location.
