26. Where's Polish? Spring Madness a success for Brewers
Fans lined up at Miller Park at 5 a.m. to participate in the third annual Milwaukee Brewers Spring Madness event, which included finding 2,000 Klement's Famous Polish Racing Sausage lawn ornaments in the grass areas surrounding the stadium and its parking lots.

The Professional Bowlers Association has unveiled three distinct new lane conditioning patterns that will debut during the GEICO PBA Summer Swing in the Milwaukee area May 20-June 2, expanding the PBA's current library of "animal pattern" lane conditions.
28. Registration open for Nelson's celebrity golf tournament
Brewers Director of Alumni Relations and FOX Sports Wisconsin broadcaster Davey Nelson will host his Fifth Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament at Whistling Straits Golf Course in Kohler, on June 24.

The Brewers should've won the game Wednesday, but John Axford blew a two-run lead in the eighth inning. Sitting close to the field, it was the first time I'd seen and heard the vitriol from fans around me. They booed him. A lot.

30. Sprint race comes to Miller Park
Reebok Spartan Race has created the Wisconsin Spartan Sprint at Miller Park, and it will take place on Sept. 7. The three-mile course is a head-to-head, time trial, speed-style event, with the unique twist of incorporating numerous and challenging obstacles.
31. "Brewers Win, You Win!" promotion returns
The Brewers are bringing back the unique "Brewers Win, You Win!" promotion. Every Brewers victory between May 1 and May 30 will result in $1 off a Terrace Box ticket for the June 3-5 series vs. the Oakland Athletics. The more games the Brewers win, the more money fans save.
32. Boylan out as Bucks coach
The Milwaukee Bucks announced Wednesday afternoon that interim head coach Jim Boylan will not be offered a new contract to return.
33. Registration open for Brewers mini-marathon and 10K run
Registration for the Brewers Mini-Marathon and 10K is open and registrants receive the lowest price to participate when signing up prior to Wednesday. The 2013 race is scheduled for Sept. 28. New for the second year of the "Brewers Mini" is the addition of a 10K race.
34. Milwaukee County Parks golf courses to open
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele will open the 2013 golf season with the annual "group tee-off" at Currie Park Golf Course on Wednesday, April 24 at 4:30 p.m. The annual event marks the official opening of all 15 Milwaukee County Parks golf courses.

The NFL and Green Bay Packers announced its 2013 regular season schedule, including games against the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles and the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.
37. Golden Gloves event needs doctor to finish tournament
The Wisconsin Golden Gloves is required to have a doctor to perform pre-match physicals and to be ringside through its tournament of champions this Saturday, but the doctor originally in place will not be able to attend. Tournament organizers are currently searching for a physician.
38. Marquette guard Vander Blue declares for NBA Draft
Marquette University guard Vander Blue, a junior, has declared for the NBA Draft.
39. Yovani Gallardo arrested for DUI
Milwaukee Brewers ace Yovani Gallardo was arrested early Tuesday morning for driving under the influence. According to multiple reports, Gallardo failed a field sobriety test and posted a blood-alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit.
40. Jackie Robinson more than just a day
It's good that every generation gets to learn about the sacrifices Robinson made in order to be the first African-American to integrate professional baseball.
41. Packers host official NFL Draft party at Lambeau Field
The Green Bay Packers' official 2013 NFL Draft party will be held on Thursday, April 25, at Curly's Pub located in Lambeau Field. The event will feature appearances by Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, General Manager Ted Thompson, head coach Mike McCarthy and two current Packers players.
42. Norman Johnson, former Golden Gloves champ, passes away
Norman Johnson, the sensational Milwaukee lightweight who won the 1953 and 1954 Golden Gloves at 135 pounds, passed away last Friday about three weeks short of his 78th birthday.

50. My Spring Training checklist
A week from today, I'll be at Maryvale Baseball Park in sunny Phoenix to get my first look at the 2013 Milwaukee Brewers. It's a trip I've taken every year since 1998, and it's one of my all-time favorite traditions. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a Brewers pre-season laden with so many question marks before pitchers and catchers even reported.
