Potawatomi confirms plans for a Menomonee Valley hotel

Potawatomi Bingo Casino officially announced plans today to build a 4-star/4-diamond-level hotel adjacent to its Menomonee Valley casino.

The proposed hotel will be smoke-free and feature 382 rooms, a full-service spa and casual-dining restaurant. Its construction will also include a number of energy and water efficiency measures, native plant landscaping and other green initiatives.

Construction on the $150 million project is scheduled to begin in late spring or early summer and last two years.

Palermo`s Pizzeria & Cafe at the company`s Italian villa-style plant on Canal Street opens at 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday to serve bagels, a breakfast burrito, a breakfast panini and the devilishly delicious Padella Colazione, a breakfast pizza slice topped with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, bacon, fresh Italian sausage, peppers, onions and eggs. The restaurant is probably the best kept dining secret in the city.
