The Milwaukee Air & Water Show has announced dates and performers for its 2012 event, which will run 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 and Sunday, Aug. 12.
This year's show includes headlining performances by the Black Diamonds, America's premier civilian jet demonstration team; the U.S. Navy Leapfrogs Parachute Demonstration Team; the U.S. Marine MV-22 Osprey Tilt Rotor Demonstration Team; a U.S. Air Force B1B bomber and others. the Lima Lima Aerobatic Flight Demonstration Team, Firebirds X-Treme and other state-of-the-art military aircraft are also scheduled to perform.
The 2012 Air & Water Show will also be a key element of the U.S. Navy's Bicentennial celebration of the War of 1812 and the "Star Spangled Banner" Aug. 8-13 along Milwaukee's lakefront.
General admission, Center Point reserved and other ticket packages for the 2012 Milwaukee Air & Water Show will be available online beginning Wednesday, Feb. 15.
