On Friday, Discovery World, 500 N. Harbor Dr., will celebrate its fifth birthday.

During those years, nearly 1.5 million visitors have experienced Discovery World's many exhibits, events and activities.

To celebrate this milestone, Discovery World will hosts weekly drawings from Sept. 10 to Oct.11.

The first one starts Saturday, Sept. 10, Visitors to Discovery World can enter their names over the weekend, and winners will be drawn for merchandise and tickets to the final Brewers home stand of the year, Sept. 23-28.

Then, these giveaways will follow:

September 13-18. Bartolotta Gift Certificates.

September 20-25. Guests can win a variety of gift bags and gift certificates.

September 27-Oct. 2. Win four day sails aboard the S/V Denis Sullivan.

October 4-11. Win free cable for one year, courtesy of Time Warner Cable.
