Noah's Ark water park will celebrate the first day of summer, June 21, by pitting fans of the Back Anaconda water slide against fans of the Scorpion's Tail water slide to determine, once and for all, which one is the most thrilling.

On Tuesday, June 21, the park will open at 6 a.m. and there will be a "rally" at 8 a.m. where opposing sides will "campaign" for their favorite water slide. The campaigning will include free T-shirts and signage. Admission for this day will be $10, a whopping 75 percent off the regular ticket price.

Attendees will be invited to vote for their favorite water slide and in doing so, will be entered into a drawing to win two lifetime season passes.

The Black Anaconda is the longest serpent-like water coaster in the nation and The Scorpion's Tail is North America's first and only water ride to feature a launch rocket that plummets into a free fall down an enclosed chute at a top speed into an almost vertical looping water slide.

I will be going to Noah's Ark later this summer to try the two water rides myself and will declare my favorite via an OnMilwaukee.com blog. In the meantime, I will work on having a less queasy stomach.
