There's no way that our state's tourism federation could have seen this coming. But, it's still funny nonetheless.

The Register has a piece today about how the Wisconsin Tourism Federation finally has changing its name to reduce its affilation with "WTF."

The state-wide lobbying group has taken some good-natured ribbing of late as sites like yourlogomakesmebarf.com have questioned the group's funny to many, but probably slightly offensive to others acronym.

The Wisconsin Tourism Federation is now the Tourism Federation of Wisconsin.

They should have switched to another common internet acronym, FTW and shared with the phrase "For the win!" Federation of Tourism in Wisconsin for the win! FTWFTW!
