We are sure that you have seen the building. But do you know what the different colors on the building's flickering flame mean? The flame, on the top of the building, holds the key to tomorrow's weather and does a pretty good job with predictions. The next time you are downtown, look up at the Wisconsin Gas flame and use the following poem to formulate your forecast for the next day:
When the flame is red, it's warm weather ahead.
When the flame is gold, watch out for cold. When the flame is blue, there's no change in view.
Where there's agitation (aka flashing), expect precipitation.
