Description [edit]
Looming above the Summerfest grounds and the Port of Milwaukee, this bridge named for socialist mayor Daniel Hoan offers a scenic route between downtown and Bay View. Although it suffered a major crack in December 2000, the Hoan is back to good as new. Once not so affectionately nicknamed "The Bridge to Nowhere," this span has occasionally become home to rare falcons visiting from far-off lands.

Although it is a practical route for many by day, after dusk it offers a panoramic view from Bay View toward Milwaukee's beautiful skyline.
