Description [edit]
Built in 1873, the 120-foot tall tower was part of the public water system, linked in a chain connecting Lake Michigan, the pumping station at the foot of Lafayette Hill, the tower, and the reservoir a mile west on North Avenue.

Designated a Milwaukee landmark in 1968 for its historical and architectural significance, this gothic revival tower has become a Milwaukee East Side monument.
