Waukesha County Airport (also known as Crites Field) is easily accessible off of Interstate-94 at exit 294. Wisconsin's busiest corporate airport, more than 50 businesses travel to meet customers and visit branch offices more efficiently through Waukesha County Airport using corporate aircraft and charter services. Nearly half of the airport's small aircraft owners use their planes for both business and recreation. It is also home to a vibrant community of recreational pilots who love to fly their Cessna, Beechcraft, Piper and other popular aircraft brands, as well as lovingly-restored antique airplanes from World War II and beyond. The Wings over Waukesha Air Show is held here every year in August.
