Monday started off with smiley faces for those at Summerfest checking out the first construction phase of The American Family Insurance Amphitheater. The project is 90 percent complete and will debut during Summerfest.

The new amphitheater includes improvements to the infrastructure and back-of-house areas including raising the roof 26 feet, a new portable, flexible stage, flat-floor seating, 19 awesome dressing rooms, production space, large, easy load-in area for buses (in photo below) and more.

Cousins Subs was also onsite promoting The Big Gig Giveaway – a contest sponsored by Cousins and Summerfest offering fans the chance to win a VIP experience including two tickets to an American Family Insurance Amphitheater concert, VIP deck access, Ticketmaster Terrace passes, Summerfest store gift card, dinner courtesy of Cousins Subs and parking.

The contest runs now through June 16 and fans can click here for more details.

During their visit to Summerfest today, Cousins gave away free "Piggy Mac Subs" to all of the construction workers. The Piggy Mac Sub will be available during Summerfest and features pulled pork, bacon, sautéed onions, Wisconsin smoked gouda and Cousin's new mac and cheese.

"It's very decadent, very fun and all-things-Wisconsin," says Justin McCoy, Cousin's vice president of marketing.

Lenny Bahr was one of the many workers who received a free Piggy Mac from Cousins for lunch today.

"I'm not 100 percent sure of everything that's in here, but it's really good," says Bahr.
