It's Wisconsin. And Wisconsinites love their cheese.

And Cousins Subs is giving that fact a great big nod with its new "Big Cheese" subs, which will be a featured offering at the 50th Annual Big Gig, a little more than a month away.

The super cheesy subs include a choice of grilled chicken or steak topped with bacon, sautéed onions, and three kinds of cheese: Wisconsin cheddar, locally made sharp cheese sauce and fried Wisconsin cheese curds.

The sandwich, by the way, also has its own hashtag: #BIGCHEESIN, which is to be used expressly to proclaim fans' cheese-coma-infused love for the new sandwich.

"This June marks Cousins’ 45 years of serving Wisconsinites, and we wanted to bring festival goers a sub rich in local flavor that is both commemorative of our heritage and unique for Summerfest’s 50th," said Justin McCoy, vice president of marketing at Cousins Subs, in a statement. "We encourage everyone to sink their teeth into indulgence and celebrate all that makes Wisconsin’s food culture iconic."

Big Cheese subs will be available on the Summerfest Grounds, beginning June 28 at the Cousins Subs concession stand located across from the stage at the Miller Lite Oasis.
