RiverCrest Park, inside the RiverCrest Townhome Condominiums on North Avenue and Commerce Street, hosts a dog appreciation event this Sunday, Nov. 18,  from 1 to 4 p.m.

The day includes food and drink for dogs and their caregivers (hot dogs, cider and plenty of fresh lapping water), games, a fenced-in dog park, the chance to win gift baskets and more. Central Bark Doggy Day Care and Madra Pet Spa will be at the event.

“We are really trying to develop a neighborhood feel and join together area residents and their dogs,” says Becky Godfrey of the Mandel Group, also hosting the event.
