While it's long been said that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, there are some things whose allure is undisputed. Branded, the bar inside the new Iron Horse Hotel, is one such entity, which is why it comes as little surprise that readers voted for it to win in the Best Décor category.

"From the indescribable and meticulous interior design to the exotic drink menu utilizing house infused Door County cherry brandy and French ginger liquor, the hotel's lobby and connected bar combine New York trend with Montana austerity," staff writer Maureen Post wrote after her first visit.

Intentionally complimenting the neighboring Harley-Davidson museum, the wrought iron moldings, leather covered chairs and biker inspired push button booths within Branded all render images of bikes out on the road.

Cream city brick walls preserve Milwaukee's historic charm with gorgeous hardwood floors sweeping across the large space. Combining both urban chic and a weathered Western feel, this is "modern" vintage décor at its best. editor's choice: Two
