"Bar Month" at OnMilwaukee is back for another round, brought to you by Great Northern Distilling: grain to glass spirits, handmade in Wisconsin. The whole month of March, we're serving up intoxicatingly fun articles on bars and clubs – including guides, the latest trends, bar reviews, the results of our Best of Bars readers poll and more. Grab a designated driver and dive in!

When it comes to Irish pubs in Brew City, OnMilwaukee readers really love County Clare. The lower East Side hotel, bar and restaurant nabbed the title of best Irish bar for the umpteenth year in a row.

County Clare, 1234 N. Astor St., is a small inn that serves great authentic food, including Irish root soup, shepherd's pie and corned beef and cabbage. With plenty of space to dine, drink or  lounge by the fireplace, County Clare rarely feels cramped (except, of course, on St. Patrick's Day).

For the first time, Mo's Irish Pub beat out Paddy's Pub for second place, and the OnMilwaukee editors – after much debate – finally decided on McBob's as their Irish bar favorite.

OnMilwaukee editors' pick: McBob's

Runners-up:

2. Mo's Irish Pub
3. Paddy's Pub
4. O'Lydia's
5. McBob's
