In Bars & Clubs

Milwaukeeans have spoken - they love the wings at Points East Pub.

Milwaukee's best signature bar food, 2016

"Bar Month" at OnMilwaukee is back for another round, brought to you by Great Northern Distilling: grain to glass spirits, handmade in Wisconsin. The whole month of March, we're serving up intoxicatingly fun articles on bars and clubs – including guides, the latest trends, bar reviews, the results of our Best of Bars readers poll and more. Grab a designated driver and dive in!

Bar food can be hit or miss – though almost all bars offer up some kind of grub. This year we decided to charge OnMilwaukee readers with a new important question – what is the best signature bar food?

We offered up a few suggestions and the readers have spoken quite loudly. Points East Pub's wings won the top spot and won it handily with more than 140 votes than second place finisher Cafe Lulu (lulu chips) and Red Dot's poutine rounded out the top 3.

The OnMilwaukee editors' chose Kegel's Inn for their delectable fish fry in a classic tavern setting.

OnMilwaukee editors' choice: Kegel's Inn

Runners-up:
2. Cafe Lulu (lulu chips)
3. Red Dot (poutine)
4. The Wicked Hop (nachos)
5. Leff's Lucky Town (cheese curds)

Doesn't Red Dot get tossed out for how terrible their execution / food is as the Tosa location?
