"Bar Month" at OnMilwaukee is back for another round, brought to you by Great Northern Distilling: grain to glass spirits, handmade in Wisconsin. The whole month of March, we're serving up intoxicatingly fun articles on bars and clubs – including guides, the latest trends, bar reviews, the results of our Best of Bars readers poll and more. Grab a designated driver and dive in!

Lakefront Brewery has certainly grown since its earliest days, but its spirit has stayed the same – a spirit that's clearly won over beer fans and aficionados, as the brewery and its Brewers Hill facility took home top prize for best tour (beer, wine, liquor).

For the third straight year, when it comes to getting a taste of Milwaukee brewing history – along with a taste (or two ... or three) of Milwaukee's most famous product – Lakefront Brewery's tours are the people's choice, scoring double the amounts of votes as the second place finisher, Milwaukee Brewing Company

For $10, you get four 6-ounce pours of beer, so you must be 21 years old, or under adult supervision, to attend. Lakefront generally has seven or eight beers to choose from during the tour, and at the end, attendees trade in their plastic cup for a souvenir logo pint glass. Bottoms up!

Great Lakes Distillery may have won the bronze in the general vote, but it won the gold in the OnMilwaukee editors' hearts, nabbing the honor as their pick. Meanwhile, Milwaukee Pedal Tavern and Sprecher Brewing Company rounded out the top five.
