Welcome to a new weekly segment called "Social Circle." It's OnMilwaukee.com's first article that's truly a group effort between readers, social networkers and the OnMilwaukee.com editors.

Every Monday, we will ask a question via Facebook and Twitter and then post the responses from our Facebook "likers" and Twitter followers in the Thursday column. Well-known Milwaukee movers-and-shakers will contribute, too.

This week, we asked via Facebook and Twitter for people to share their favorite outdoor drinking / eating spot in the city. Unfortunately, we haven't had much of a chance to enjoy these locales because of all the recent rain, but hopefully, the upcoming months will be filled with lazy, patio-friendly weekends.

Here are a bunch of great patios, but if your favorite didn't get a shout-out – or even if it did – feel free to add it via the Talkback feature. Cheers.

John Adler: "I'm distrustful of the outside."

Carmen Barclay: "Horny Hideaway! The beer and the food are OK, but the patio is the best in the city."

Risa Bowden: "Stonefly is urban chic. The fish fry is fun on the patio."

Kevin Brandt (KB): "In my younger days, it was The Harp by a landslide. I don't have any distinct favorites anymore. Not to mention, I do not like to eat or drink in a breeze."

Mike Brenner: "Sitting under the stature of Frederick Pabst on the patio at Best Place is pretty incredible. It helps you remember that Milwaukee was once a world leader, and can be again!"

John Ecker: "Andy Kochanski (of Kochanski's Concertina Bar) just opened his although it's not complete yet. It will be awesome when he is done with it! He had a nice crowd out there last Sunday for the Exotics' show."

Jeff Fortin: "Paddy's Pub. Lots of vegetation, fountains and pergolas to shade out the sun and a great staff."

Shaina Franzen: "Cafe Centraal in Bay View. Beautiful location for people to sit outside in front or really nice patio in the back."

Sass Frass: "I love the patio out back of Honeypie when it was Annona. Haven't sat back there now that it's Honeypie, but i imagine it's just as quaint."

Roy Henning: "Barnacle Buds. Because you can sit back and really believe you are in South Beach."

Jose Eddy Hernandez: "Stubby's on the East Side."

Betsy Holmes: "Roots in Riverwest. City view, best in city. Food, among the best."

Laura Luden: "Horny Hideaway, for sure."

Melissa Price: "The National. It's homey and comfortable."

Thom Ryder: "Anywhere the beer is cold."

Heather Samson: "Hooligan's at lunchtime on a warm summer day. Have a Weiss beer. Enjoy."

Liz Sharp: "I have always loved the patio at La Fuente (Walker's Point location) in the summer. Even with the plexiglass partitions now. Not too noticeable if you sit in the back."

Mitchell Wakefield: "Tess. It's the best."
