On Tuesday, Sept. 6, Lakefront Brewery, 1872 N. Commerce St., will unveil new metal outdoor sculptures near the entrance of the brewery. The sculptures are of the Three Stooges that were reformed from the large vats that were once inside the brewery.

The event runs from 3 to 7 p.m. The sculpture unveiling will happen at 3. During the celebration, Lakefront will release its seasonal Pumpkin Lager beer as well.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees will receive a free draft beer of their choice, as well as appetizers and mini-tours of the brewery. A series of Three Stooges shorts will also be shown and beer specials will be available throughout the night.

The three kettle murals (depicting Larry, Curly and Moe) were removed earlier this summer when the brewery replaced its vats. They were repainted and welded into sculptures – with additional faces painted on the back – by a local sculptor, Paul Bobrowitz of Colgate.
