Tha Circle, 2221 N. Humboldt Ave., opened last March in the space that was the long-time home of Treats Tavern.

Last week, the sports-themed bar that features DJs and karaoke nights applied for a Class B Tavern and Public Entertainment Premises renewal license, but this time with the addition of "adult entertainment / strippers / exotic dancers."

A public hearing will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. in room 301-B of City Hall.

The feedback on the Riverwest Neighborhood Facebook page is extremely heated, with people sharing strong and polar opinions.
