Black Sheep, a full-service bar, restaurant and wine tap coming to 26 S. 2nd St. in Walker's Point in August, has released architectural renderings of the space and announced that it will be managed and operated by industry veteran Jessica Valona.

Valona has previously tended bar at Crazy Water and managed Sticks & Stones in Brookfield and Houlihan’s in Milwaukee. She will be bringing on her brother James as a consultant. Valona is also a self-taught chef.

"I have lived and worked in Walker’s Point off and on over the past 10 years," said Valona. "I have seen new people move in and great restaurants and bars open. The people and businesses in Walker’s Point all care about their neighborhood – and I love that. The building is perfect. I love that it has a story. I can picture the old printing presses at work."
