Heidi Calaway, owner of Vieux et Nouveau, wants to trump up your Tuesdays with more "T's."

Recently, she started Tang, Tea & Tasty Tuesdays inside her specialty vintage shop/gallery at 1688 N. Franklin Place.

Every Tuesday, she will serve treats (Tobblerone? Tapioca pudding? Toast?) and thirst quenchers -- including astronauts' orange beverage of choice -- while patrons shop her eclectic selection of old and new fashion 2D and 3D art, jewelry, handbags and clothing from over 50 local artists/designers.

Sound t-t-t-t-tempting?

The comfy walk-up will also host a show, Pop Art with Pop Tarts, for Gallery Night and Day and beyond.

"My store is unique because I have a wide selection of unique, unusual items such as one-of-a-kind handbags made by local designers, custom T-shirts ... a bear resting on a log planter, a squirrel on nut dish, a teapot-shaped lamp, retro drinking glasses, pet jewelry, a replica of orange pitcher and glasses as seen in 'That 70's Show' and many more old and new clothing and accessories," says Calaway.

Vieux et Nouveau summer hours are Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesdays from noon to 7 p.m., Thursday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Monday.
