LISTEN: Packers win, Golden Globes lose and OnMilwaukee gets nostalgic
In episode 13 of OnMilwaukee's podcast, The Postgame Tailgate, sports editor Jimmy Carlton and pop culture editor Matt Mueller discuss the Packers' playoff win over the Giants, as well as look ahead to the Dallas Cowboys in the Divisional Round and agree that broadcasters Joe Buck and Troy Aikman don't have some evil, hidden, anti-Packers agenda and are actually kind of good.
Then, the guys talk about last night's Golden Globes awards, including winners, losers, Meryl Streep's speech and what it all meant (or didn't mean) for next month's Academy Awards. They also can't help but wonder what will happen in the second episode of "The Bachelor."
In addition, instead of The Postgame Tailgate's usual intro and outro music, listeners, along with OnMilwaukee's youngest staff writers, get a company history lesson by taking a listen to its old radio jingles from the late 1990s. Priceless.
