National urban park advocacy organization City Parks Alliance has named Greenfield's Zablocki Park its "Frontline Park" for the month of November.

The designation was awarded to recognize the park's standard of excellence, as well as promote the park's strength and innovations despite budget challenges. Zablocki Park is currently in the process of receiving a $180,000 three-phase renovation in partnership with the Philippine Cultural and Civic Center Foundation.

Zablocki Park, originally known as Cherokee Park, was renamed in 1984 in honor of Congressman Clement J. Zablocki. The 45-acre park will be featured on the CPA's website through the end of the month.
