BelAir Cantina obtains grant to open location in East Wauwatosa
Milwaukee's popular BelAir Cantina plans to put a second restaurant in East Tosa a the site of the former Aqua Terra tropical fish store at 6817 W. North Ave.
Today, the popular Mexican restaurant and bar was granted $150,000 in community block development grant funding from the Wauwatosa Economic Development Commission. The grant will assist the restaurant Mojofuco Restaurants group in purchasing the space on North Avenue.
Although the restaurant partners were unavailable for comment today, additional details are forthcoming.
I agree with you Tiger. It's really coming together there
We are looking forward to the Bel Air Cantina here in East Tosa. North Avenue between 60th and 76th Streets is getting this great addition to the eating and drinking establishments along this stretch. This is soon to be the "Brady Street on the West side of town" -although it's East Tosa because 60th Street is the East Side of Wauwatosa. I can't wait for this building to be refurbished, it's a great location! Let's eat!
This area on Tosa really has it going on lately. It's another good addition to the area. Thanks for reporting this!
