Your votes are in, Milwaukee, and you have selected the winners of OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2012. We're announcing the results of this readers' poll, including our editors' pick, in a series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on

For the last few years here on, it's been a battle royale between P.F. Chang's and Cheesecake Factory. Chang's has taken the title the last two years, pulling ahead of the Cheesecake Factory by only one vote in 2010. 2012 was no different. It was a dead heat between Chang's and Cheesecake.

The love is still there, Milwaukee. P.F. Chang's China Bistro won again this year, pulling ahead by only 16 votes.

Offering the best of American Chinese cuisine, P.F. Chang's is located inside Mayfair Mall. Their expansive gluten-free menu is a hit with diners, as is their wine selection. The restaurant has also become a pop culture icon, with TV characters like Howard Wolowitz of "The Big Bang Theory" and the cast of "South Park" professing their love for the chain.

The Cheesecake Factory also operates a location at Mayfair Mall, as well as a location at Bayshore Mall. Editor's Pick: The Capital Grille
