For the sixth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Concordia University. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2012."

Your votes are in, Milwaukee, and you have selected the winners of OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2012. We're announcing the results of this readers' poll, including our editors' pick, in a series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.

For the second year in a row, OnMilwaukee.com readers picked Organ Piper Music Palace, often just called "Organ Piper Pizza," as Milwaukee's most family-friendly restaurant. Every night of the week, with the exception of Mondays, an organ player sits down at the massive Wurlitzer and plays recognizable songs, both old and new. Plus, they take requests.

Next to macaroni and cheese, pizza is probably the most kid-friendly food out there. And the thin-crust pizza at Organ Piper is very good, making this a real restaurant that's a slice above the organ-music gimmick. Plus, Organ Piper offers sandwiches, entrees and has a decent selection of adult beverages.

Best of all, because of the festive environment, dining with noisy kids is never a problem at Organ Piper.

The editors of OnMilwaukee.com are big fans of Organ Piper Pizza, too, so it's the editors' choice this year, too.
