Renovations on the new Carnevor space are officially complete. The restaurant, which served its last dishes in its former location over the weekend, will re-open Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 718 N. Milwaukee St. in the space which formerly housed Umami Moto.

The move was prompted by a failure to agree on terms with the landlord at the restaurant’s former location at 724 N. Milwaukee St.

A new menu will include both classic Carnevor favorites plus some new additions, including additional specials as well as more seafood and meats from owner Mike Polaski’s Hidden Creek farm.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere – which was created with help and expertise from Flux Design – will maintain some elements of the former Carnevor brand (think: overhead ribcage) while drawing in additional Jurassic elements and dynamic visual elements, which will offer up variable experiences dependent on where a diner is seated. Check out our sneak peek for more details.

Carnevor’s hours beginning Wednesday will be Monday through Wednesday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m. Note that the restaurant will be closed on Saturday, Jan. 30 for a private event.
