Chubby’s Cheesesteaks will be opening their third location at Bayshore Town Center.  The new shop will be adjacent to Trader Joe’s at 430 W. Silver Spring Dr.

The restaurant, known as "Milwaukee's answer to the Philly cheesesteak," offers not only cheesesteaks, but also a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items including the chicken and waffle sandwich, featuring eggs, cheese and bacon served on a homemade waffle with a side of maple syrup.

According to general manager, Jessica Kreidl, the Bayshore location will open daily at 9 a.m.

"If the city allows, we hope to be open until 2 or 3 a.m., just like our east side location, she notes.

The projected opening date for the Bayshore location is March 1, 2016.

Chubby’s Cheesesteaks also maintains locations on Milwaukee’s east side at 2232 N. Oakland Ave., as well as on the west side at 2147 Miller Park Way.

And this won’t be the last location for the popular local establishment. According to Kreidl, the owners plan to open four locations in 2016, and also hope to expand their operations to seven states on the West coast.
