Divino Wine and Dine, 2315 N. Murray Ave., is now open for business.

The restaurant, located in the former Palermo Villa space, serves small plates, half-size portions of pasta and a wide selection of wines, craft beers and Italian liqueurs. The menu also features original Palermo Villa pizza.

The contemporary restaurant has been remodeled to highlight the building's cream city brick, and features higher ceilings and "old meets new" decor reminiscent of an Italian villa.

Divino will serve food until midnight on weekdays and 1 a.m. on weekends. It is owned and operated by Dean Cannestra and his niece, Tina Conley. Cannestra also owns Nessun Dorma in Riverwest.
