On New Year's Day, OnMilwaukee broke the story that Gypsy Taco, a food truck located year-round on the patio of Boone & Crockett, started on fire. The truck is repairable, but in the mean time, the chef-owner, Mitch Ciohon, will "pop up" at Lucky Joe's Alchemy & Eatery, 1425 Underwood Ave.

Gypsy Taco food will be available from Monday, Jan. 9 through Thursday, Jan. 12.

Lee Guk, the owner of Lucky Joe's, will create cocktails to pair with the tacos. John Revord, the owner of Boone & Crocket and Ciohon's business partner, will take bartending shifts during the pop-up.

Gypsy Taco will serve from 4 to 10 p.m. Diners can get food to go or chow down at Lucky Joe's.
