Walker's Point is the site for yet another food-driven event.

Walker's Point gearing up for Foodie Week

In just two short weeks, Walker's Point will celebrate its status as a true foodie destination with Walker's Point Foodie Week.

From Aug. 9 to 16, area venues will present specially priced options, including three-course dinners, pairings and gift items at prices between $11 and $31.

Throughout the week, diners are encouraged to share photos of their experience on social media using #wpfoodieweek, and vote for their favorite photos, which will be posted on's Facebook page. Winners will receive $25 gift certificates to Walker's Point eateries.

Participating restaurants and shops include AP Bar & Kitchen, Black Sheep, Braise, Chez Jacques, Ginger, Indulgence Chocolatiers, La Perla, Prodigal Gastropub, Screaming Tuna, Smyth at the Iron Horse Hotel, Stack'd, Stone Creek Coffee, Transfer Pizzeria, Wayward Kitchen Co. and Wine Maniacs, a new bistro on the riverfront.

Three course meals at participating restaurants are priced at $21 and $31, while other venues will offer promotions and tasting options.

For instance, Indulgence Chocolatiers will feature a four cheese and chocolate pairing flight or four beer and chocolate pairing for $11. Opt for five wines with chocolate or four whiskeys paired with chocolate for $21.

Stone Creek will be offering special pricing of just $21 for one pound of coffee (exclusing the Lab Series), a tin of hot chocolate and a "Reinventing Brew City" mug.

Feeding America will receive $1 from each sale at participating venues during the course of the week.

Participants are encouraged to make use of the Foodie Week web site at, where they can access venue offerings, utilize an interactive map and build an itinerary for Foodie Week adventures.
