I paid a visit to Trocadero about a month ago and I was excited about my decision to dine there as I have heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately for me, I left disappointed. I arrived at the restaurant at about 5:00 in the evening on a Saturday night. There were almost no people there, which really hurt my dining experience. It says something good about a restaurant when the tables are full and the place has a really good atmosphere; this restaurant however, did not. Although it says it is a French-themed restaurant, I didnt quite see it. To me, it was just another ordinary restaurant, because nothing made it seem French. Our waitress was surprisingly slow, even though the place was not busy. Our food came out at an unacceptably slow time for how many people were in the place. I ordered the Chicken and Andouille Jambalaya; it was decent but very expensive. My girlfriend ordered the Grilled Caesar Salad, which was very bland and burnt. I am surprised how they could mess up a salad, but Trocadero found a way. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was quite poor. However, I have heard great things about it and am not willing to give up on this restaurant; going at a better time would have made my dining experience better as there would have been more people at the tables, creating a better atmosphere. I also ordered something out of the ordinary for myself, so it was my fault in a way. I think I will give this restaurant another chance, go at a better time and order something more to my liking.

Me and my wife have been hearing good things about Trocadero so we went last night. I have to say we were impressed. They have a new chef we met him he was out talking with tables and came over and said hi. We had some chili which had no beans which is fine with me my wife likes beans in her chili. He must have heard her when he walked by. within in a minute he was back at the table with her own cup with beans in it. Cool right. We had the Tuna which was fantastic!! and we split our salad which was really good as well. it's good to see that they are working on making it good again. we will be back.
