"Art, Soul & Rock and Roll" will take over the Schauer Arts Center, as those three elements mark the overarching theme of its recently announced 2018-19 performing arts season, its eighteenth at its Hartford home at 147 N. Rural St.

The season will start on Friday, Sept. 14, with a performance from the Grammy-nominated country act The Bellamy Brothers, followed over the next year by a variety of acts showcasing talent from across genres and the globe, from dance by the Milwaukee Ballet, to musical performances from Madison acts like The Mark Croft Band and Harmonious Wail, and tributes to international icons like the Bee Gees, Frank Sinatra and more.

"We wanted to bring something for everyone," said Joe Konrad, executive director of the Schauer Arts Center, in a press release. "No matter your age or interests, we really tried to bring a wide variety of performances this season. From classical artists to musical theater, country to rock n’ roll, ballet to soul and R&B – it’s going to be fun!"
