From a family doctor who grew up partying in Sturtevant to an MPS middle school teacher who used to drive cab to a ghost hunter who’s also a retired drag queen – everyone has a story to tell.

On Friday, Jan. 31, 10 Milwaukeeans will share their stories live and unscripted when The Moth, a nationally acclaimed storytelling organization, hosts its GrandSLAM championship event at Turner Hall.

The Moth, like local group Ex-Fabula, creates a venue for competitive storytelling around a theme. It started in 2007 and first came to Milwaukee in 2009. This will be Milwaukee's first GrandSLAM event.

Tickets are $20 and available here.
