Today, Nordstrom announced plans to open its first full-line store in Wisconsin at Mayfair, the largest mixed-use shopping center in the state. The store is scheduled to open in fall 2015.

The Seattle-based company plans to open an approximately 140,000-square-foot, three-level store on the east side of the mall, just north of Boston Store.

"We've heard from customers in the Milwaukee area for years that they would appreciate a store in their community," says Erik Nordstrom. "We're glad we have an opportunity to serve our customers, as well as those new to Nordstrom, in such a strong location as Mayfair."

A Nordstrom Rack off-price retail shore is slated to open in 2014 as part of the new Mayfair Collection shopping center on Burleigh Street near Highway 45.
