Antique dealers Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz – the driving force behind History Channel's "American Pickers" – are from Iowa, but they trek quite a few miles through Wisconsin.

Producers of the show reached out to VISIT Milwaukee last week to help spread the word that they are looking for collections in Milwaukee to pick.

"They are looking for leads in Wisconsin for filming which will start in June, specifically, ‘interesting characters with interesting items and lots of them! Please note that Mike and Frank only pick private collections, so no stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public'," read a VISIT Milwaukee email.

The show continues to be one of the most watched programs on the cable network. If you’ve seen the show before, then you know they’ve been in our backyard before. One of the most memorable picks was going through the overflow warehouse at the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh. If you watch "Real Milwaukee," then you may remember WITI-TV’s Chip Brewster’s visit to see Hippie Tom, who was featured on one of the early seasons of the show.

If you haven’t seen the show, it is a documentary series that explores the world of antique picking and the people living in it. Wolfe and Fritz take huge road trips across the U.S. to find antique motorcycles, classic cars, bicycles and other vintage memorabilia items. The show's hosts like to recycle and restore forgotten relics from our nation’s past to its former glory. When in season, new episodes air at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays.

If you know of a large collection or want to refer someone to the show, email details and photos of the items along with contact information to americanpickers@cineflix.com. Or call (855) 653-7878.

DAYTIME AWARDS: Tyra Banks will host the 42nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards at 7 p.m. live on Sunday, April 26, on Pop. The awards, voted on by members of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), will be presented in a live televised ceremony honoring more than 350 nominees in daytime television.

Banks, a two-time Daytime Emmy award winner for "The Tyra Banks Show," is set to make her return to daytime television with "The FAB Life," a lifestyle chat show that will launch this fall.

"As a network that celebrates talent and personalities who ‘pop’ in fan culture, we couldn’t be more excited to have the multi-talented Tyra Banks as the host of the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards," said Paul Adler, senior vice president of original programming and development at Pop. "We know she will bring her fun, charismatic energy to the Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, which promises to be an entertaining show honoring the most notable achievements in daytime television."

The show will be televised from the Warner Bros. Studios lot on Stage 16.

"With Tyra Banks as our host, all the pieces are falling into place for what I believe will be a truly memorable night on the legendary Warner Bros. Studios lot," said NATAS president Bob Mauro.

The Lifetime Achievement Award will go to Betty White – who will be joined by a who’s who of previous honorees including Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Walters, Merv Griffin, Dick Clark, Bob Barker, Phil Donahue, Regis Philbin, Alex Trebek and more.

"Are you ready to get your Smize on?!!" Banks said in a release. "I’m honored to be hosting the Daytime Emmy Awards and can’t wait to bring a fresh edge and lots of surprises to the show.

"It’s a big year! I’m shaking things up, starting with a new look and a brand-new daytime talk show launching in the fall. I’m pumped to be partnering with a fun, new network like Pop to celebrate daytime TV and the diehard fans that watch every day. Let’s do this!"
