Former OnMilwaukee.comrade and lifelong OMC friend Drew Olson has organized a rock and roll benefit for Hunger Task Force that takes place Thursday, Dec. 27 at Shank Hall, 1434 N. Farwell Ave.

Doors to the gig open at 7 p.m. and admission is $10 and at least one can of food (though please be generous, in the spirit of holiday giving).

On the bill are Testa Rosa, Blue In the Face and KB & the Dungarees.

Each band will, in its own unique way, pay homage to the Rolling Stones, who celebrate 50 years of bandom this year.
