This morning, Maroon 5 announced that it will make a stop on its current world tour in Milwaukee to play a show at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Saturday, Oct. 1.

The show marks lead singer Adam Levine and company's first visit to Milwaukee since 2012, when they played a private show for Northwestern Mutual employees. The band also performed at Summerfest the prior year.

Maroon 5's last album, "V," came out last year, but even so, the pop rock band's still been no stranger to recent radio play with hit songs like "Sugar" and "This Summer's Gonna Hurt like a Motherf*cker." Then, of course, there's Levine's solo career, which includes his popular judging gig on "The Voice" and guest verses on popular songs like R. City's current hit "Locked Away." R. City actually serves as an opener for the BMO Harris Bradley Center show, along with fellow Top 40 hitmaker Tove Lo.

Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday, Nov. 14, either through Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster's phone line (1-800-745-3000), in person at the Bradley Center box office or at Walmart Ticketmaster outlets. There are also several presales: one beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 8 for American Express card members, one on the same date and time for fan club members and another venue presale beginning Thursday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m.
