Summerfest have announced that thanks to a sponsorship with FM106.1, the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage – which tended to have a more alternative bent – will now focus mostly on country performers.
"We are excited that the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage will be the new home for country music at Summerfest this year and welcome FM106.1 as our new radio partner," said Laurie Poellinger, U.S. Cellular's director of sales. "The lineup of performers we have makes the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage the place to be at Summerfest."
