This morning, the Wisconsin State Fair added two new headliners to its Main State lineup: country star Cole Swindell and teen pop group Why Don't We, performing on Aug. 8 and Aug. 7, respectively.

After making a career writing singles for the likes of Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line and Scotty McCreery, Cole Swindell broke out on his own in 2013 with his debut single "Chillin' It."

Since then, Swindell's made quite the dent in country music for himself, winning New Artist of the Year from the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2015, as well as releasing new hit songs like "Middle of a Memory," "You Should Be Here" and, his latest release, "Break Up in the End." Last year, Swindell energetically opened for Dierks Bentley at Summerfest.

Tickets will cost $35 and $45, with all track level tickets general admission while reserved seating will begin in the grandstand.

Meanwhile, the night before, teen pop sensations Why Don't We will take the Main Stage. In less than two years as a band, the pop quintet has already taken off thanks to YouTube (the group is friends with famed – or infamous – YouTuber Logan Paul, with the star directing several of their videos and collaborating on a diss track called "The Fall of Jake Paul" aimed at his similarly famous brother). However, Why Don't We's latest hit, "Trust Fund Baby," marks its biggest collaboration yet: with Ed Sheeran, who wrote the tune.

Tickets for the show will cost $25 and $35, with all seating reserved.

Tickets for both concerts will go on sale beginning Friday, April 6, at 9 a.m. on the Wisconsin State Fair website, the State Fair ticket office and over the phone at 800-514-3849. As for the entire Wisconsin State Fair, the late summer festival staple will open Aug. 2-12.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
