The Wisconsin State Fair has announced three Main Stage headliners.

Contemporary Christian rockers Third Day will take the stage on Monday, Aug. 9. The band has produced 25 number one singles across multiple formats and won 23 Gospel Music Association Dove awards as well as three Grammy awards.

Chad James, 2009 WAMI winner for best Christian/Gospel performer, will open the show.

On Wednesday, Aug. 11, country duo Montgomery Gentry will be at the fair, celebrating 10 years on the national stage. Singer-songwriter Josh Thompson, a Milwaukee native and newcomer to the country scene, will open.

Three Dog Night headlines on Friday, Aug. 13.  The Grass Roots, starring Rob Grill, open the show at 8 p.m.

Reserved seat tickets for all shows go on sale Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center beginning at 9 a.m. and cost $30, $20, and $10. 

The 2010 Wisconsin State Fair runs from Aug. 5 to 15.
