I loved it last night as the Bucks clinched a playoff spot, their first since the 2005-'06 season, that one of the first congratulatory Tweets was from the team's inspirational and newly injured team member, Andrew Bogut.
Today, via Twitter, Bogut posted a photo of his cast and hopefully his healing well and quickly injury. I've re-posted it above.
If the playoffs started today, the Bucks (43-34) would be seeded fifth in the Eastern Conference and would face No. 4 Boston in the first round. Obviously, the Bucks aren't the same team without Bogut but this team is still full of heart, energy and talent. They always play hard and fight. Personally, I can't wait to see them do some damage in the playoffs.
In the meantime, let's hope and pray for a quick recovery for Bogut and let's also give thanks for the Milwaukee Bucks who have now made the playoffs 26 out of 42 seasons. Think about this. It's amazing.
Congrats to the entire Bucks organization. The future is bright and the present -- including this year's playoffs -- should be wonderfully entertaining.
